"We had our new home built in 2020 by Tru Bilt homes. Covid caused many challenges but Ron and his team were very easy to work with through it all. Ron communicated all permit and scheduling challenges and kept us up to date on the progress and next steps. He and his team of trades and contractors were pleasant to deal with, open to questions and extremely helpful throughout the build.

The workmanship was outstanding with added attention to detail and, while, as expected, there were a couple of items that needed attention after completion, Ron and his team were quick to find solutions and fix them.

The project came in on budget and within the originally discussed time frame even with the Covid challenges.

"We began our build in early April 2019 on East Surprise Lake. The lot was challenging and the plan ambitious. Our desire was to have Tru Bilt complete the home to the primed drywall stage as we intended to complete the interior finishings ourselves. After careful review and budget discussions we agreed to work with Tru Bilt and they accepted the project.

As the project progressed there were frequent meetings and discussions regarding the progress and budget. Changes were expected, all were discussed and impact on the budget evaluated. Ron and his crew remained on budget and on the agreed schedule as it evolved. There was never a point where we were surprised by cost that were under Ron’s control.

The Tru Bilt crew were a pleasure to work with. Workmanship and work ethic were very good. They were given appropriate ownership of the project and there was rarely any times when the project was impacted while the crew awaited a decision from us or Ron. They had our cell numbers and felt comfortable calling for guidance, which was not often.

With the home now largely complete we can say we are very pleased with the end result and truly appreciate the effort by Ron and his crew to get us here. We can honestly say the experience was enjoyable and satisfying. Our only regret is that the pandemic has prevented us from having an open house to allow those that worked on the project to see the final outcome."
